Griffintown ist ein historischer, aber lange vernachlässigter Stadtbezirk nahe dem Zentrum von Montreal.

Nach 40 Jahren des Niederganges versucht nun die Stadtregierung in einem dubiosen Verfahren das gesamte Areal einem privaten Investor zu übereignen.

Inspiriert vom Protest lokaler Aktivisten gegen diese Pläne schreiben wir einen neuen Text zu einer Melodie, welche aus der Zeit stammt, als das gegenwärtige Aussehen von Griffintown Gestalt annahm.

Dieses Lied spielen wir an verschiedenen Ecken des Bezirks.
